London's New Year's Day Parade 2012, is the first official event in a year of celebrations: the London 2012 Olympics and Her Magesty Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee.
The annual New Year's Day Parade features more than 10,000 performers representing 20 London boroughs and countries from across the globe. Dancers, acrobats, cheerleaders and musicians have been performing in the spectacle. The New Year's Day Parade route starts at The Ritz hotel and ends in Parliament Square.
