Today we celebrate World Book Day. It's a celebration of reading. The main aim is to encourage children and adults to explore the pleasures of books and reading. Today, April 2nd, is the sixth annual World Autism Awareness Day. Every year, autism organizations around the world celebrate the day with several events.
Last year the Empire State Building in New York had a special lighting on the evening of April 2nd (Light It Up Blue) and even there was a Presidential Proclamation by Barack Obama about it.
I'd like to celebrate this day with this storytail for my pupils. I hope they like it.
